When it comes to water well pump service in Ramona, BG Pump stands at the top—literally and figuratively. We're the biggest name in town, but size isn’t everything. What truly sets us apart is that we’re also the best at what we do. With years of hands-on experience, deep local roots, and an unwavering commitment to doing things right the first time, BG Pump is the trusted choice for reliable, long-lasting solutions.

Our core services include diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and emergency response for both water well pumps and booster pump systems. Whether your system needs troubleshooting or a complete overhaul, we approach every job with precision and care. We don’t believe in quick fixes—we focus on finding and solving the root cause of issues to prevent repeat failures. When installed and maintained correctly, pumps and motors should last a decade or more. That’s the standard we work by.

What really sets BG Pump apart is our comprehensive understanding of the entire system—from incoming power and pressure switches to your irrigation demands. We take the time to explain how your system works so you’re never left in the dark. We believe an informed customer is a confident one, and sharing knowledge is part of the service. When you call BG Pump, you’re not just hiring a contractor—you’re gaining a partner who cares deeply about your water system and your peace of mind.

Choose BG Pump—because when it comes to water systems, strength, service, and smarts flow together.

Meet The Team

Brandon Grassilli: Founder & Water Systems Expert

Born and raised in Ramona, California, Brandon Grasilli’s roots in the water well industry run deep—literally. From a young age, he worked alongside his father, a respected pump contractor in the region. His passion for the trade sparked early; by the age of five, he had already diagnosed his first hole in a pipe. That moment ignited a lifelong curiosity about how water systems work and a deep respect for the craft of doing things right.

Brandon attended Barnett Elementary, Olive Peirce Middle School, and graduated from Ramona High School. During his time in school, he excelled academically and technically, earning multiple scholarships to attend top-tier automotive technical programs. Despite those opportunities, he made the deliberate choice to stay in the water well industry—a decision rooted in his desire to remain connected to his hometown and the people in it.

With an eye for detail and a heart for community, Brandon brings decades of hands-on experience, problem-solving, and a no-nonsense work ethic to every project. He believes that understanding water systems is a blend of science, intuition, and pride in workmanship—skills he continues to hone and share through his company, BG Pump.

Brandon’s commitment goes beyond business. His goal is to raise his family in Ramona and live there for the entirety of his life, whether long or short. To him, providing clean, reliable water to his neighbors isn’t just a job—it’s a legacy.

Steven Canning:
Junior Technician

Steven was born and raised in San Diego County and has lived in Campo, Alpine, and Ramona. With a deep appreciation for small-town life and strong community ties, he takes pride in his roots. He graduated from Ramona High School, where he was active in football and track & field. After high school, he continued playing football at San Diego Mesa College, but an injury shifted his path. He then enrolled at San Diego Miramar College to study Diesel Engine Technology, laying the foundation for a career in mechanics.

For five years, Steven worked as a diesel mechanic, gaining hands-on experience in diagnostics, repairs, engine rebuilds, and routine maintenance. He also worked directly with customers as a service advisor, honing his communication skills. It was during this time that he met Brandon Grasilli, founder of BG Pump, while servicing Brandon’s 1997 F-350. The two developed a strong rapport, and Steven knew he wanted to work alongside Brandon one day.

In October 2024, Steven officially joined the BG Pump team. Since then, he has fully immersed himself in the world of water well systems. With a hunger to learn and a passion for solving problems, Steven thrives in a job that offers daily variety and challenge. His energy, reliability, and willingness to grow make him a valuable asset to the team.
